All NYC high school players are invited to tryout for the 2017 Fall Tournament Team, CityLax’s premier team for college recruiting, featuring five of New York City’s top coaching talents.

If you are trying out for the team, it is our expectation that you can also attend all team obligations that are listed below, should you be selected to make the squad.
If there are weather issues on the day of a tryout, call the CityLax Weather Hotline at (212) 613-5466. An update on the status of the tryout will be made at least 90 minutes before its start time.

Meet The Coaches
Coach Mahon was a four year member of the Women’s Lacrosse Team at Rutgers University from 2010-2014. There, she was a three year starter in the midfield, helping her defense finish sixth in the NCAA and make a 2014 Big East Tournament appearance. While at Rutgers, she earned her degree in Psychology and was a member of the Big East All-Academic Team all four of her years there. Now, she works as a Production Manager for Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment. Specifically, Sarah works in the DORNA division, which specializes in high-impact TV visible signage across more than 200 professional and collegiate sports teams.
Coach Engeldrum played high school lacrosse at West Islip on Long Island and continued on to the collegiate level at Hamilton College where she majored in Psychology and Communications. While at Hamilton, the team was named two-time league champion and a finalist in the DIII National Championship. Coach Engeldrum was a four year starting defender, team captain and was selected for the NESCAC All-Conference Team. She has continued to share her passion for lacrosse by coaching at different camps and leagues throughout the tri-state area. She currently resides in Manhattan where she is a commercial real estate broker at Cushman & Wakefield.
Coach Maiorano played high school lacrosse at Chatham High School in Chatham, NJ. While there, she was a two time Morris County Champion and two time Group 2 State Champion. She was also named an Academic All American in 2009 and 2010. From there, she went on to play Division III varsity lacrosse at Hamilton College for four years. During her senior year, she was named team captain. Post college, she has spent time as a lacrosse camp coach at Sum It Up for Girls based in Summit, New Jersey. At Hamilton, she double majored in Mathematics and Economics. Currently, she works at Mercer as an Investment Consulting Associate.
Coach Prevoznik, played high school lacrosse for Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes, NJ. During his time there he was named the 2007 and 2008 state champion and a 2-time All-State and selection. He attended the University of Notre Dame and was a member of men’s Varsity Lacrosse team where he was a two year starter, 3 time all-ACC academic team, 2012 Big East Regular season Champs, 2014 ACC Champs, 2012 NCAA Semifinalists and 2014 NCAA Championship Finalist. He coached Laker Future lacrosse club for 5 years, pioneered Fields of Growth lacrosse and the Ugandan National lacrosse team that participated in the 2014 World Lacrosse Games in Denver. At Notre Dame, he studied Finance in the Mendoza College of Business. He is currently an associate for the CITIC Group.
Coach Kralovenec played high school lacrosse for Fairfield Prep in Fairfield, CT. During his time there, he was named 2006 and 2007 All-State, and two time State Champion. He earned a D1 lacrosse scholarship to attend Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT from 2007-2011, where he was a double major in Finance and Marketing. He is now a Commodities Trader at Morgan Stanley.
Coach Cook played high school lacrosse at Trinity Pawling, where he was captain his senior year and won a New England Championship. He continued on to the collegiate level at Rollins College, where he was a leading scorer and majored in Psychology and Philosophy. After college, he coached for the club team, Titanium Lacrosse, in Naperville, IL. He currently resides in Manhattan, where he is an investment officer at the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which makes charitable investments to non-profits supporting impacted post 9/11 service members, veterans, and their families.
Coach Mosa started his lacrosse career at Christopher Columbus High School in 2010, as a part of the 2010 PSAL Championship team. After being selected for the NYC Mayor’s Cup All-Star Game in 2012, he then took his talents to SUNY Morrisville, where he was a designated face-off specialist. He then transferred to Hofstra, where he was a 3x conference champion on the Men’s Club Lacrosse Team. After graduating from Hofstra in 2016 where he majored in Finance, he is now an Big Data Recruitment Consultant at Elliott Browne International.
