CityLax’s Annual Gala — taking place Wednesday, May 6 at the New York Athletic Club — is more than a celebration. It is the single most important night of the year for our mission.

As our largest fundraiser, the Gala fuels everything we do. The energy in the room translates directly into opportunity across New York City. Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship secured, and every paddle raised helps ensure that CityLax's programs remain completely free for underserved youth in all five boroughs.

 

Because of this event, thousands of student-athletes are introduced to lacrosse, receive equipment, coaching, mentorship, and access to teams that would otherwise be out of reach. The Gala powers our Discover Lacrosse, Winter Clinics, Summer Camps, and Open Play programming, while also supporting our PSAL team grants. Our Gala provides year-round support that removes financial barriers and replaces them with possibility and opportunity.

On May 6, we don’t just gather to celebrate — we gather to invest in the next generation of leaders. When we come together at the New York Athletic Club, we are opening doors, expanding access, and changing lives through the game we love -- lacrosse!
