6/29/26, 3:45 PM
When the school year ends, the CityLax mission continues.
This summer, CityLax is once again providing New York City student-athletes with the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow through two FREE summer lacrosse camps at Long Island City High School. Open to NYC public and private school students entering grades 6-12, the camps are designed to help players of all experience levels develop their skills while staying active in a fun, supportive environment.
The Boys Summer Camp will take place July 27-30, followed by the Girls Summer Camp August 3-6. Each day runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features skill development and position-specific instruction in the morning, followed by competitive games in the afternoon. Specialized coaching will be available for goalies, face-off specialists, and defenders. Participants should bring their own lunch and turf sneakers.
The camps are easily accessible via the NYC Ferry and the M, W, and E subway lines.

For more than 20 years, CityLax has worked to remove barriers to participation by providing free opportunities for young people to experience the game of lacrosse. At a time when youth sports has increasingly become a pay-to-play industry, CityLax remains committed to ensuring that every child has access to the benefits of sports, regardless of their family's financial situation. Beyond improving lacrosse skills, the camps help build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and friendships that last long after the final whistle.
Registration is now open, and there is no cost to participate. Whether you're picking up a stick for the first time or preparing for your next school season, CityLax Summer Camps are the perfect place to learn, compete, and have fun. Space is limited, so register today and spend your summer on the field with CityLax.
